We are delighted to announce that STAR-GO: Improving Protein Function Prediction by Learning to Hierarchically Integrate Ontology-Informed Semantic Embeddings has been accepted for publication in Bioinformatics.
STAR-GO combines the textual definitions and graph structure of Gene Ontology terms to improve protein function prediction, including zero-shot predictions for previously unseen terms.
